Overview

The Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory network is a 23 node Beowulf cluster with 3 administrative servers working as a router, NIS server and NFS server. The CFD Labs network has been utilized to run simulations for aerospace, automotive, biomedical, and industrial facility applications. Parallel simulations have been performed using a UT/ORNL research code (PICMSS), WIND, and Fluent. Serial simulations have been performed using a CFD Lab research code (aPSE), StarCD and PamFlow. The lab supports research and academic requirements (http://cfdlab.utk.edu).
